In my work as a designer specializing in doors and windows, I often collaborate with business clients, but some projects become memorably personal. One such project involved Mr. Zev, a client and a doting person, who wanted to give his daughter-in-law, a unique birthday gift. He thought about replacing her old entrance door with a new one that would not only look stunning but also fit beautifully with the home's wood details.

Together with Mr. Zev we selected a design that matched the existing wood aesthetics of the house, focusing on a wood effect color that would blend nicely. After crafting the door, we shipped it overseas, timing the installation perfectly at a day when she was away at work.

Upon her return, she was greeted by the beautiful transformation of her home's entrance. The new door, in its wood effect color, stood proudly, enhancing the charm of her residence. Overwhelmed with gratitude, she reached out to express her joy by sending Zev this photo, saying to him this was the greatest birthday gift she had ever received in her life and one that she would remember every day!

This project was a testament to the personal connections we forge through our work, reminding me of the profound impact thoughtful design can have on someone's life.
