A story through the eyes of a window designer
N. is a known Greek architect known for his bold and innovative design. He was on the lookout for something extraordinary for his latest project. A modern villa overlooking the Aegean Sea. He wanted his design to not only present an aesthetic appeal but also embody a spirit of adventure and unity, much like the sea itself.
Some projects become memorably personal.
In my work as a designer specializing in doors and windows, I often collaborate with business clients, but some projects become memorably personal. One such project involved Mr. Zev, a client and a doting person, who wanted to give his daughter-in-law, a unique birthday gift. He thought about replacing her old entrance door with a new one that would not only look stunning but also fit beautifully with the home's wood details. Together with Mr. Zev we selected a design that matched the existing wood aesthetics of the house, focusing on a wood effect color that would blend nicely. After crafting the door, we shipped it overseas, timing the installation perfectly at a day when she was away at work. Upon her return, she was greeted by the beautiful transformation of her home's entrance. The new door, in its wood effect color, stood proudly, enhancing the charm of her residence. Overwhelmed with gratitude, she reached out to express her joy by sending Zev this photo, saying to him this was the greatest birthday gift she had ever received in her life and one that she would remember every day! This project was a testament to the personal connections we forge through our work, reminding me of the profound impact thoughtful design can have on someone's life.
Embracing European Innovation in the Heart of New York
We are thrilled to share our latest project in New York, where we had the opportunity to show the exceptional quality and performance of our European-style black framed windows. The clients, wanted to renovate their beautiful brick facade home and initially looked for windows from the local market. However, their journey took an exciting turn when they met one of our skilled contractors. He passionately explained how European windows, with advanced sealing technology and exceptional design, far outshine the traditional vertical sash windows commonly found in the area. Unlike common sash windows that rely on brushes, our European windows use high-quality gaskets to provide an unmatched level of insulation and noise reduction. They finally decided to place their trust in our contractor and our company. The anticipation was intense as they awaited the arrival of their new windows crafted overseas. When the windows arrived and installed, the results spoke for themselves. The sleek black windows not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of their home but also delivered outstanding performance. You see, they live near a busy fire station and were familiar to the constant noise of sirens and drills. However, after the installation, they were left speechless by the peace and quiet inside their home. The windows provided exceptional noise reduction, creating a peaceful, library loud oasis. Moreover, the improved heat insulation effects were immediately noticeable. They felt a significant difference in comfort, with their home becoming a haven of warmth and coziness, perfectly sealed against the outside elements. This project marks one of our first projects into the U.S. and the feedback from our clients was incredibly rewarding. It’s a proud moment for us to demonstrate how our people can make a substantial difference, even in markets where we are relatively new. As we continue to expand our presence, we remain committed to quality and prove that sometimes, an underdog can indeed make an impact.
A challenging project.
We are proud to share a recent project we completed for our one of our dealers and his client, Mr. Kamioner. This challenging project involved closing a semi-open space to create three separate rooms behind beautifully designed windows. The difficulty lay in ensuring that our window frames met the existing wall partitions inside the house, precisely at the designated points and also combining 90 degree posts to connect the side elements to reach and completely cover the outside.
