In 2017, our team was challenged to design windows for Kelem family, a residence located in the heart of the desert, between the borders of Israel and Jordan in a village called Paran. The harsh desert environment posed a unique set of challenges, extreme sun radiation, intense heat by day, and freezing cold at night. This cycle of thermal stress asked for solutions that offered high performance and endurance, specially concerning windows and joints of the elements.

We got photos of our windows and sliding doors from Mr. Kelem when we asked to see the resilience against the elements, and these came up. The daily expansion and contraction of the temperature fluctuations required our windows to maintain integrity and functionality without fail. Additionally, the desert sand and dust called for windows and doors that could seal perfectly, preventing infiltration and ensuring the home's comfort and safety.

Kelem Project is proof to our team's expertise and commitment to design windows and bring solutions. Despite the extreme conditions, we delivered a residence that withstands the desert's challenges and offers a sanctuary of modern living. This project demonstrates our ability to identify pain points and come up with solutions for the long run.

Plus we made a good home for our cute friend to rest his nose ! 🐶
